Convention, Conference, and Trade Show Photography

At Narrative Images we understand the importance of being dedicated to your craft in order to produce high quality, professional photos that add value to the event. We have photographed some of the largest conferences held at the San Diego convention center as well as smaller meetings across a variety of venues in San Diego. Some popular meeting venues include the Manchester Grand Hyatt, The Omni Hotel, The Marriott Downtown...  Regardless of the venue our approach is to provide dynamic, beautiful event photos that capture as much of the highlights and key aspects of the meeting as possible while remaining unobtrusive.

As event photographers, we strategize in order to cover all the important elements of your meeting. This includes everything from the attendee candids, crowds, and audience reactions, to general sessions, keynote speakers, the expo floor, products, signage, and entertainment - to name a few. We will provide a variety of perspectives that establish and explore the nature of your event.

There are many different ways that you can use images from your event in order to elevate your brand and deliver a clear message about the theme of your event as well as your organization and its marketing goals. We often use our experience as professional photographers combined with our academic backgrounds in photography and sociology provide the basis for our approach.




 


How to best use photos from your events

While making photographs, it is important to think about how they will be used by our clients so we can tailor our approach and align perspectives. After working with many organizations, and marketing companies over the years we have seen many different ways that images from events can be used and featured, which informs our approach. However, even after photographing expos for many years it is always useful to coordinate with an organization's marketing and or event planning team as well as show organizers in order to learn more about our clients needs. 

Using our academic backgrounds and experience we seek to produce aesthetically beautiful images that peak the viewers interest, invite them to learn more and share in the experience, as well as be prompted to share photos on their own social media accounts. Some of our clients use photos for their social media accounts in order to maintain a current online presence and generate a virtual audience. Some other uses include: marketing collateral, promotional materials, speakers slides, signage, and website content.
